Villa Sunbird

Gazing at the silver blue of the Indian Ocean across a stretch of isolated beachfront are two Dutch styled buildings which make up Villa Sunbird. Saffron coloured walls streaked by the sun and vigorous sea breezes contrast pleasantly with the lush green lawns and kaleidoscopic sky.

The two villas are named Kingfisher and Jacana. Each Villa has three double rooms with en-suite shower and toilet in each room. All, but one room faces the sea. Originally designed to be an escape from the stress of Colombo for the owners, the villas permit a more relaxed and private holiday without the formality of most hotels. One can choose one's own menu with the Chef, or even watch and learn how he makes a great curry. There are two 'butler' staff to attend to guests needs, but they are discreet. There are plenty of places on the one acre property to simply hide away and finish that book.

Ideal for a group of friends or two families holidaying together, or available as single rooms.
